Professional Statement
Amy is a dedicated and compassionate general practitioner who has been serving the local Paddington community since 2013. Graduating from Sydney University in 2009, Amy began her journey in general practice in 2011, quickly finding her passion for caring for patients through all stages of life, from newborns to the elderly.
Amy's commitment to education and mentorship is evident through her involvement in teaching medical students and GP registrars. Her previous role as a Clinical Lecturer for Sydney Medical School allowed her to impart her knowledge and experience to the next generation of healthcare professionals.
With a keen interest in women's health and maternal care, Amy has completed both a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Diploma of Child Health. She actively participates in Antenatal Shared Care programs with The Royal Hospital for Women and RPAH, providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers. Additionally, Amy is skilled in Implanon insertions, further expanding her ability to address women's health needs.
Outside of general practice, Amy enjoys spending time with her family including her 3 young children.
